Since four continuous non working days, make sure you withdraw enough cash as most of the ATM may be running out of cash during these days
* Make sure that you made your accommodation booking well before your arrival. If you are thinking to find the rooms after arriving Munnar, then you will be in trouble. As per the present information, most of the hotels are sold out. So rooms availability will be very limited and you may have to pay double or triple than the normal rates. So book the rooms in advance and then go. This will save your time and money
* Make sure you have enough fuel in the vehicle or else don't wait till reaching Munnar town to find petrol pump. If required, fill your vehicle with fuel when you happened to see a petrol pump on the way. The reason is that, Munnar town having couple of fuel stations and that remain crowdy these days in particular.
*Most of the main sightseeing spots will be rushy . So drive slowly and be patient. You may have to wait for vehicles to move in the sightseeing places particularly.
*If you plan for Eravikulam National Park visit, then go there early morning itself (7.30AM) so that you can finish the trip without that much waiting
* Chances of traffic block in Gap Road (Thekkady Direction) area will be more due to road expansion works. So plan that side after finishing other sightseeing so that you don't need to waste your time
